Because the pen can be refilled again and again, you can use your own favorite paints instead of being limited to pre-filled pens. Size 2 is an excellent choice when you want to work efficiently with primers, Speedpaints, Contrast-like paints, or varnishes, but it works equally well for terrain, dioramas, and larger details on miniatures. For thinner paints, it is often enough to fill the pen directly, while thicker acrylic paints can easily be thinned to achieve optimal results.
